Friday Night Lights
OK, well, technically, it was a Thursday. And it wasn’t night-time, since the 7th and 8th graders normally play their games after school. So no lights, because at 4 in the afternoon, the sun is still shining nicely.
Um, shouldn’t there be some other boys lined up with him here? Maybe on either side of him? Because looking at this photo, I’m pretty sure he’s fixing to get squashed like a bug.
He’s definitely not the biggest. Or the strongest. Or the fastest. But he is hands down, the cutest. And while I know every other mother in the stands has the EXACT SAME THOUGHT about her own son, I am the only one on the field with a camera, so I get to claim it with photographic proof.
I’m also glad it was only a scrimmage, and the boys will be allowed to wear actual, real jerseys next time, and not those beat-up practice jerseys. Because my gosh, you shouldn’t dress handsomeness like this in ragamuffin clothes. And who knows? A real jersey might even make him run faster next time.

I recognize those long skinny legs! They’re on my 5’10″ son who weights 110 lbs! I agree that he is adorable. There’s something about kids playing the “big boy” sports that is so cute!

Don’t you think it had to have been a man that decided football pants should be white?!?!?! They are the worst! Here’s a helpful hint for ya….Spray and Wash, then Cascade dishwasher soap in the soap part of my washing machine. At least now that we’re finally at varsity level, they are grey!

Just wondering if you all realize football pants are meant to be tight on the legs? When are you guys going to start feeding that kid? No one would ever believe what a rolly polly baby he was. I totally agree with you though, he is definitely, hands down, the cutest! ;)
