In the span of the past ten days, I’ve had the following people in my house:
Cable guy to check my computer connection.
Tech Dude to pick up my computer.
Different Tech Dude to return my computer.
Contractor, and any one (or more) of the six or seven guys (framers, painters, electricians, texture, etc) that have shown up at various times to work.
Two furniture delivery people.
Exterminator.
My brother in law, to help move furniture.
Cable guy to install new cable outlet in “den”.
Fed Ex guy.
I’m pretty sure all I need to do at this point is paint my front door red and the neighbors will be convinced I’m running a brothel.

What? You would actually bring ANOTHER person out to paint your door red? Naw… just buy a red light bulb for the porch light. MUCH cheaper, not labor intensive, and it’s probably even more effective.

This morning I had four men in my bathroom at one time. Maybe I should get a revolving door and paint IT red! Home renovation — isn’t it fun?

After everything is all finished you now need to have a Kristie Christmas Home Renovation tour of homes. You could sell tickets. Have some cookies and punch.

The first week I starting dating my husband (who lived in another city)he had a Jeep. Then he sold it and borrowed his mom’s car. The third week he had his Dad’s truck. The fourth week he had his new truck.
On the that fourth week he looked at me and said “your neighbours are going to think you’re a busy lady”
I was mortified!!!

Well, just don’t decorate the walls with Geisha girl wallpaper and you might come out unscathed :)
