Looking up

While things are still a little hectic around here, and the downstairs looks like a tornado hit us, I think we’re turning a corner.  I broke down and bought a new laptop yesterday so I can at least stay connected online because goodness knows I’m not patient enough to go to the public library every day.  And I bought a new microwave, because that is yet another thing (see also computer and/or printer) that you have no idea how much you use until its no longer available.

The contractors actually finished yesterday afternoon.

Then the door fell off Brayden’s closet last night.

We paid a high school boy to help us move furniture and Blaine accidentally smashed his finger (the boy’s) in our wall unit and I’m worried we broke it.

And while we were moving the kids’ bedroom furniture back into their “new” bedrooms, Kellen stepped in blue paint and walked all over the house without realizing it.

Then today, we left the dogs inside because it was raining and one of them pooped in two of the new bedrooms.

Ahhhhhhhh, good times.

But hey, at least that vein isn’t popping out of my forehead any more.
