Moments in time ….

A few weeks ago, I thought the funniest thing I had ever heard was a group of eleven year old boys, belting out “Jenny/867-5309″ as loudly as they could in my van.

Today, driving down the road, I think the five twelve-year old girls singing “The Hairbrush Song” from Veggie Tales at the top of their lungs was even funnier.

Good thing my kids’ friends are just as easily amused as they are.

    Heck, this is still funny to me and my friends in our early to mid-twenties!
    And so is the water buffalo song.

    Ooo, freakish coincidence. Today I was giving the boys the code for something and it was 8675. And then, of course, I had to finish it and just sing the song. They were terrified by my enthusiasm.

    I was a little over 12 when I sang the hairbrush song – still love it! Oh where, oh where, oh where, oh where…ah, you know it.

    I am sure you know about this but just in case you hadn't heard… Sonic is giving away free Root Beer Floats tonight from 8 to midnight – June 3rd. I don't even live by a Sonic so I can't get one so go get one for me :)

    We LOVE VeggieTales but, uggghhh…. "that" song. My girl went through a period of at least six months where she sang it over and over and over and OVER again…… such an annoying, but catchy song. If you're ever in the mood to irritate the kids because they are acting bratty, sing this song and change the words to your liking…….

    Oh my gosh!! You would have so loved finding Larry the Cucumber in my locker then on Monday- he sings that song and moves!!!

    I'll add to the list – I had a dilemma last week – couldn't decide which song was better by my two year old "Chicken Noodle Soup" or "Funkytown"!!
