Ten years later ….
… and this still makes me giggle.
Kendrie, age 8′ish months, with the world’s most mutant Easter Bunny, in the new “Awkward Family Photos” book, page 157, under the section labeled “Most Awkward Holiday Mascot.”
Ha!! The heck with leukemia, she’ll need therapy for THAT RABBIT!
Book now available online, Amazon, and of course, your local bookstore. Although I’ll give you a little heads up, that its most likely found in the humor section, and not photography. In fact, if you look in photography and can’t find it, and so you ask a salesperson for help, she will spend twenty minutes on her little computer, only to tell you there is no such book, to which you will reply, “Well I’m pretty sure there *is*, and I’m pretty sure my daughter is *in it*, because I signed a release, and I got an e-mail that it was now available, so would you mind looking again?” only to discover she wasn’t finding it because she didn’t know how to spell A.W.K.W.AR.D. and kept typing it in her computer incorrectly.
(sigh)
PS. My personal favorite? Besides Kendrie, of course? Pretty much any image on page 32 or 33 ………. because as a parent, I FEEL THEIR PAIN.

That is so funny! I have actually seen this picture on Awkward Family Photos (my favorite site to visit when I need a laugh!) and had no idea it was Kendrie. I LOVE it!!

I love Awkward Family Photos, and good-grief! That “thing” with Kendrie takes the cake! I love it that she’s in the book! I have a reason to go buy it now :)

I’d seen this photo on your Caringbridge (I think?) and when I saw it on AFP I cracked up! I immediately knew who it was and giggled…mostly because I live vicariously through you. :)

Love it…maybe we can get a CMC discount on the therapy since we all tortured the kids. I wonder if Susan knows she is “famous”? Yeah Kendrie!
